Slowly

I found peace
in fantasies
turned reality
by feeling me
as the “male-me”,
unbroken by stress,
or the turbulent sea
of life.

I found peace
in less ,
cause more was too much.

I found peace
in the knowledge
that I build my way,
before I run too fast.

I found peace
in the simple moments,
the breaks in between moments,
the flying in between consciousness
and normal aspects of life,
a breathtaking beauty.

I found peace
in sadness,
cause I’m there for myself
and it’s not
endless.

I found peace
in shared times,
cause try as we might
we are not meant to live
alone.

Peace.
In the silence of my own voice.

Only life.
