Wir möchten hier in der Gruppe Besitzer:innen gepflegter und verkehrssicherer Vehikel, und zuverlässige, verantwortungsvolle Reisende ohne Platz für ein eigenes rollendes Dach zusammenbringen.[/color]
Die Gruppe ist eine Interessengemeinschaft. Ein Leih- oder Mietvertrag besteht ausschließlich zwischen einzelnen Gruppenteilnehmenden. Die Gruppe oder der JOY-Club sind nicht in eine Vergabe, Vereinbarungen und Nutzung involviert.
Selbstverständlich ist von einer kostenlosen Leihe bis hin zu einer privaten Miete gegen einen angemessenen Unkosten- und Abnutzungsbeitrag alles erlaubt.
Andererseits geht der Gedanke nicht in Richtung einer Kommerzialisierung, so dass sich ein eventuelles Entgelt sehr deutlich vom regulären Vermietungsmarkt abgrenzen sollte. Siehe hier:

Beide Seiten sollen Vorteile haben. Besitzer:innen haben in ihrer eigenen, reisefreien Zeit eine Beteiligung an ihren laufenden Unterhaltskosten, und Nutzende können günstig Urlaub machen.

The group is a community of interest. A borrowing or rental agreement exists exclusively between individual group participants. The group or the club are not involved in the allocation, agreement or use of the equipment.
Of course, anything is permitted, from a free loan to a private hire in return for an appropriate contribution towards expenses and wear and tear.
On the other hand, the idea is not to commercialise, so any payment should be very clearly differentiated from the regular rental market. See this:

Both sides should benefit. Owners have a share in their running maintenance costs while their own travel-free period, and users can go on holiday for less.
