Caritia will teach the fundamental basics from her experience with Japanese Rope Bondage/Shibari over this two day course.

The intention for this workshop is for participants to take away simple ways to play, as well as improvise with partners or clients within a dominant context with rope. The workshop will consist of six hours per day of teaching, plus breaks of eighty minutes per day.
Participants are requested to bring with them 3 ropes, if you have them. There will be practice ropes available. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy movement – no jeans, no leather, no latex. No previous experience necessary.
Meditation, Intention setting, health and safety around rope play, rope terminology, single column, double column, tension and counter tension, basic upper body ties, consent, safe words and signals, practical ties with regular household objects.
Snacks and drinks available. Please bring your own lunch.

Caritia is a Berlin based queer, woman of colour (Afro-Caribbean decent) who explores transformation, shadow aspects and communication through Body Play. Her work brings to light the growth potential of exploring fears and shadows. Caritia is a fearless warrior of ritual, using shamanic practices and ritual in conjunction with her over 18 years experience within the varied world of kink. Caritia's R.A.C.K - (risk aware consensual kink,) advocacy offers those who chose to work with her, the space to truly own their journey of self-empowerment and exploration.

Caritia is creating and running her own unique workshops and sessions for individuals, couples and groups since 2012, commencing in Berlin and travelling throughout Europe and Internationally.

Caritia's aim is to share her knowledge and experience from a perspective of honouring oneself (body, mind, spirit), whilst exploring the inner and outer spheres of the body.
