Tea & Ropes - multi-sensual meeting

We (Jukka & Lennart) invite you to a multi-sensual afternoon with Tea & Ropes.

Tea is a drink we are all used to. We drink it every day when we want to get warmer, or wake up, or calm down. But what if we slow down for a moment and give the tea some attention? Listen to the water pouring in the teapot. Smell the tea leaves before first hot drops touch them. Feel the texture and the temperature of the cup in your hands. All these senses is the part of the process, they are all important and contribute to your experience.

And what about ropes? We all tie differently: slow, fast, gently, aggressively. We have different intentions and different moods when tying. So what if we notice them a little bit better?

In this meeting we propose you to slow down and give some more attention to details: Not only knots, frictions and patterns, but also your intention, the way you feel when tying, the way your partner(s) feel(s).

We are going to start with tea: drink some, tune in, get to know each other better, and then we will slowly move to the rope practice through several exercises that help us to build contact, trust, connection and rope flow. We will finish the process with free-tying time when you can practice rope, drink more tea or ask any questions.



Language: English (tea time), English + German (rope time).

What to bring? Comfortable clothes, blankets, ropes, curiosity.
