The STAR Laboratory is directed by Beáta Bőthe, Ph.D., Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the Université de Montréal. The overarching goal of the STAR Lab is to help people living with sexual problems and addictions. The STAR Lab seeks to understand the nature and interrelations of sexuality, addictions, and technology. Some of the topics we are interested in include different compulsive sexual behaviors, behavioral addictions, and online pornography use.
